"This unique set of cards was inspired by The Sappi Standard 5: Special Effects, which features the fanciful retail concepts of 826 National, a nonprofit network of tutoring, writing, and publishing centers for under-resourced students, ages 6–18. Each 826 center is "disguised" from the street view as a retail store that sells merchandise for working pirates, superheroes, space travelers, secret agents, time travelers, Bigfoot trackers, robot repairman, and unnatural history museum-goers. Curiosity draws young people inside to see what 826 has to offer, What they discover the that writing can be fun and imagination frees their creative spirit."
