About Us

All proceeds from 826michigan Ann Arbor Robot Supply Co. (formerly Liberty Street Robot Supply & Repair), Detroit Robot Supply Co. (formerly Detroit Robot Factory), and OnwardRobots.com directly benefit the free student writing programs offered at 826michigan, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center for students aged 6 to 18. 826michigan serves more than 3,000 school-aged students with programs in Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and Detroit. 826michigan inspires school-aged students to write confidently and skillfully with the help of adult volunteers in their communities.

All programs at 826michigan are offered completely free of charge, thanks, in part, to proceeds from 826michigan Ann Arbor Robot Supply Co., Detroit Robot Supply Co., and OnwardRobots.com.

September UPDATE: Our Ann Arbor store is OPEN (on a sporadic basis due to staffing limitations) for IN-PERSON SHOPPING (masks required and limited capacity)! We try to be open Thursday–Saturday from 10–4pm, so stop by if you're in town!
